The Prince of Wales zou Jamaica vaker moeten bezoeken. Want van alle problematiek waar Jamaica mee te kampen heeft is er maar een ècht belangrijk: milieubewustzijn.

@ Mr. Booker: it is too bad that you did not recognize the irony in the title of this post. In fact, the whole message is one big irony towards the English Royal Family…
a shame that they call the prince of babylone the prince nyabinghi nyabinghi is for the rasta and not for u and your drumming sucks RASTAFARI

DID THE NYAHBINGHI ORDER WELCOME PRINCE CHARLES OF ENGLAND AND THE DUTCHESS OF CORNWALL?
On Sunday 2nd of March at the Scotts Pass Nyahbinghi Center, a protest action was planned on hearing of the proposed visit of the above from the British Monarchy.
The visit however was shrouded in secrecy and no definite venue for protest was concluded.
The day of arrival, venues to be visited, routes to be taken, was unknown and this left InI with no definite plan of action.
Prior to the end of the discussion it was brought to our attention that the town of Falmouth in Trelawney and the Bob Marley Museum were two venues to be visited but specific times were unknown.
It was also said that rumours had it , that Charles would come and pay Reparation to the Government of Jamaica for descendants of enslaved Africans. All in all everything seemed sketchy, mií with hearsay and uncertainty.
With its plans for the Coral Gardens Massacre and the Earthday Celebration of Empress Menen , one thing the House was certain of, is the fact that InI would not be a part of a welcoming ceremony. This was never even thought of or conceived. How could it be?
How could it be that the advocates for African Liberation and the Emancipation of the mind, gather to welcome representatives of a Monarchy that enslaved our people and to this day does not acknowledge that they were criminally responsible . In their own words slavery was not illegal when they participated in the Trade.
How could it be that members of the Nyahbinghi Order protested the visit of Robert Mugabe to Jamaica for his role in harbouring Mengistu Mariam of Ethiopia in Zimbabwe after he committed heinous war crimes against the Ethiopian people, and later on welcome a member of the British Monarchy who were orchestrators of our enslavement?
This had never happened and never will.
Did the Nyahbinghi not protest against the visit of all significant downpressors of our race to the Island that is known to us?
Undoubtedly the visit of Prince Charles of England to Jamaica this month was not his first. He had previously visited Trench Towns “Culture Yardâ€, donned a Dreadlocked camouflage hat, dubbed “Bob Charlie†and “Prince Wailers†by the British Press and was received with drumming and other fanfare.
Certainly the Nyahbinghi Order was not a part of these ceremonies.
In the recent visit of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall the Nyahbinghi Order was not invited by the Organizers to participate or sent anyone to make such representation.
However, to our knowledge individuals who attend Nyahbinghi ceremonies were invited and without the knowledge of the Ancients of the Nyahbinghi Order participated by their own free will.
The actions of these individuals are not condoned by the Nyahbinghi Order and are undoubtedly out of character and not in keeping with the principles of the Order.
The Nyahbinghi Order does not accept responsibility for the actions of these individuals, or responsibility for this very unfortunate situation.
The individuals identified as House members undoubtedly will be reprimanded by the Ancient Council.
To the many concerned individuals worldwide who viewed the pictures and media report, the Nyahbinghi Order share your concerns and condemn the actions of those who desecrated the principles on which the Rastafari Livety has been built.
The Guidelines of the Nyahbinghi Order stipulates that the Nyahbinghi drums are played only by capable Rastafari brethrens, and Sisters are not permitted to play the drums at Issemble.
This is known by all Nyahbinghi Rastafarians internationally and such action was not ordered by the Nyahbinghi Order.
The Nyahbinghi Order continues without reservation its role in advancing the teachings of His Majesty Emperor Haile Sellassie 1st , the future development of the Rastafari Nation and the Liberation and Repatriation of all African sons and daughters.
“By word and deed, we have sought to inspire Our beloved people to retain the past, to cleave to its faith, to preserve its tradition, to cherish its self respect:â€â€¦â€¦word of His Ivine Majesty.
Give thanks
